Commissioner Kurt Bicking

Commissioner Kurt Bicking is a lifelong resident of Audubon. He attended Haviland Avenue elementary school, and graduated Audubon High School in 1986. Commisssioner Bicking with his wife Nichelle Bicking have three children.

The Commissioners background includes 16 years of military service with the United States Coast Guard. While there his accomplishments include; graduation from the Coast Guards Aviation Flight School in Mobile, AL as well as numerous other professional training schools. He is also a long time employee of Verizon Communications working in the fiber installation and maintenance group. Additionally Commissioner Bicking is a 10 year member in good standing of the IBEW local 827.

As a veteran of community service he has over 23 years in the Audubon Fire Company where he has served as President for 4 years, treasurer and Engineer. Commissioner Bicking holds a seat on the Community Development Block Grant Board (CDBG).
