A: Zoning Approval is needed for each prior to installation.
Q: What are setbacks and how are they defined in a (R) residential setting?
A: They are the distance that a structure may not encroach upon.

A: All fences must be erected within the property lines, and no fence shall encroach upon a public right-of-way or interfere with vehicular visibility or traffic on corner lots. All fences shall be constructed with the finished side out and the structural side toward the interior.
Q: How deep do my footers for my deck need to be?
A: Footing depth for a deck is 36”
Q: Can I pour concrete (for footings)?
A: You may pour after the bottom of footing trenches has been inspected by the Construction sub code official.
Q: Do you have a copy of my Plot Survey?
A: No the Borough does not have a file copy nor does the County. Plot surveys are necessary for any Construction or Zoning permit.

A: Yes
Q: Do I need a permit for basement waterproofing?
A: No.
Q: Do I need a permit for window replacement?
A: Not if you are using the same size window.
