Mayor John J. Ward
Mayor John Ward is a lifelong resident where he attended Mansion Avenue Elementary School and Audubon Jr. Sr. High School (class of '86) where he met his wife, Paula. The Mayor and his wife have two young children.
His background includes a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelors degree in Law/Criminal Justice Administration from Rowan University. Additionally he has over 20 years of experience managing large institutional safety and security departments and is currently the Corporate Director of Safety for Albert Einstein Healthcare Network (Philadelphia). Certifications include both the NJ State Police and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Emergency Management.
The Mayor has served as an Audubon Zoning Enforcement Officer and has volunteer coached in local sports clubs. Additionally Mayor Ward has a seat on the Joint Land Use Board.
