At the time of your marriage ceremony, the officiate will give you a pink or blue carbon copy of the marriage license. This pink or blue copy is not an official record. You must obtain a certified copy of the marriage from the Registrar of the municipality where the marriage was performed.

A certified copy is required to make legal name changes on driver's licenses, bank account, social security, etc.

If you were married in Audubon Borough, please contact this office at the above address to obtain a certified copy of marriage. The cost for each copy is $10.00. If you were married in any other municipality, please contact the Registrar of that municipality to obtain a certified copy of marriage. Each municipality charges differently, so we suggest you call first.
